Reading Like a Historian with Digital Literacy - Free Course

About: Being a thoughtful history student today means knowing how to evaluate TikTok videos and Instagram posts about historical topics.
In this course, participants will learn how to integrate digital literacy into the history classroom and explore free, research-backed curricular resources from the Digital Inquiry Group.
Eligible learners who successfully finish the course will receive a certificate of completion.
Enrollment: You will need to create a course account on learn.inquirygroup.org. This account is separate from your inquirygroup.org account, so you may need to register again even if you already have an existing account on inquirygroup.org.

- Step 1 : Add learn@inquirygroup.org to your email contacts. We’ll be communicating through this email, so please add it to ensure our messages reach your inbox.
- Step 2 : Click the button above to enroll in the course. If you do not have an account, you will be redirected to the sign up page. This account is separate from your standard inquirygroup.org account. Even if you already have an account on the inquirygroup.org site, you will need to create a new course account.
- Step 3 : Once you create your course account, you will receive an account activation email like the image below. Click on the red “Activate Your Account” button. If you did not receive this email, please check your spam folder.
- Step 4 : Once you activate your account, click the “View My Courses” button in the menu to access the course. If you do not see the course, please click the “Enroll” button above.
- Step 5 : On August 18, the course will be available. Once it’s accessible, click the ‘View Course’ button.
- Step 6 :Then, click the “Start Course” button.
- The course does not appear in my dashboard.
